Seafood restaurant serving food on a metal plate, corn bread in a skillet, and cole slaw in a metal mug with a spoon. Dinner served daily. There are additional locations in Anniston and Guntersville.

Have never been to the other restaurant sites in Anniston or Guntersville or the other one, but, find this one has been thumbs up after each and every visit my wife and I make. We bring our out of town friends and relatives here whenever they visit us in Pinson. We love it. [Review originally submitted 20 Oct 2003] |

I live close and visit on a regular basis. The food has never been a disappointment. Neither has the service. The only problem I have ever experienced is having to wait to get in if you wait until right at dinner time. They have a very large seated waiting area which fills up quickly on weekends.
The seating at the back of the restaurant looks out over a portion of the Coosa river, and there is a deck from which you can feed the fish(very large carp, catfish and turtles) or just enjoy watching. The slaw and cornbread are excellent, as well as the greens. Even people that don't like greens have to admit they are good. The fried pickles are a must try.
