Located on the waterfront, overlooking San Diego Bay. Fishette (quick snacks) and Star of the Sea (fine dining) are located on either side of the restaurant. May be busy during times when cruise ships are docked nearby.

This is the place your out-of-town guests will want to go. San Diego equals seafood, right? While they may not be disappointed by the food, they will be disappointed by the wait. They offer 'call ahead seating' which seems like a good idea, right? How different from that is a reservation? Well, apparently, there is a great deal of difference. We 'called ahead' and still had to wait 45 minutes for a table once we got there. Menu is quite diverse with good fresh fish and seafood options, but I left still a bit underwhelmed. |

If you are a seafood lover, this is a great place. If you can't eat seafood you will have a difficult time finding something, though it is possible. The food was good, service was excellent and the view of the bay was great. One does wonder though about the snow decorations throughout the restaurant. Perhaps christmas decorations someone forgot to take down? |
