Description from the restaurant's web site:
"At Boutin's Restaurant, we promise that you will "pass a good time" when you stop by for lunch, dinner or just to enjoy the authentic, live Cajun music. For a taste of South Louisiana steeped in tradition, make Boutin's a part of your visit to Cajun country. [....] Traditional South Louisiana favorites like Crawfish Etouffee and Shrimp and Oysters en Brochette, are complimented by a blending of classic cuisine with a nouveu twist. The result is a long list of...creative presentations destined to become the new favorites, like Crawfish Enchiladas, Seafood Wonton and Pepper Jack Shrimp.
"Come relax on the covered pier, overlooking our little bayou, while feeding the turtles. Visit our "Bayou Something" Gift Boutique for a unique Cajun keepsake. Add a heaping helping of Cajun music, served up in an atmosphere of "joie de vie" and you have an authentic South Louisiana experience.

"Boutin's Restaurant, boasts a large oak dance floor, big-screen tv in the bar and murals by Robert Harris and Vincent Darby, which enhance the culinary and musical immersion into Cajun culture. One wall-to-wall mural documents Cajun history and home life, and a mounted book exhibit invites patrons to share the Cajun experience. Boutin's is perfect for a family outing and is especially nice for out-of-town visitors who want to capture some Cajun flair."

Boutin's (pronounced 'Boo Tans') is a great restaurant. This is where we bring visitors from out of town to experience Cajun and Creole food. The food/flavors are authentic, and there is usually a live band playing cajun/zydeco music. If you are coming to Baton Rouge for a visit, this is the place to go for true cajun food. |

A wonderful cajun dining experience. Boutin's food and atmosphere puts Mulates to shame. The restaurant is the prettiest and cleanest cajun restaurant we have ever eaten at. Very talented band!!! We will be back time and time again. Thanks Mr. Lynn for your hospitality. |

Now called Boutin's. The music is very loud, which makes conversation next to impossible. |
