The restaurant has a laid back family feel to it. Its maximum capacity is around 180-185. The decor is 100% Ole Miss Rebels Sports memorabilia, which is logical considering the restaurant´s location, ten miles from Oxford. The appetizers menu consists of a sausage and cheese plate, fried shrimp, or gumbo. Entrees include catfish, filets, ribeyes, shrimp, and oysters (when in season). Also, all entrees come with hushpuppies, greens, and onion salad. There is a large salad bar that can be taken advantage of as the entree or as a side item. Homemade deserts include several pies (call ahead to see what is fresh) and banana pudding. The cost is reasonable, much less than its nearest alternatives. A catfish filet plate runs about $10.00, and the steaks vary depending on size and type.

This place knows how to prepare catfish! There isn't another place in the world that I would rate higher than Abbeville for quality catfish. |

Although this is not the most refined place to eat at, the food is superb. Go on the weekend and get the all you can eat buffet. Absolutely delicious and great variety for the buck. |
