Barnsboro Inn lives up to its reputation for great food and service. We were very well taken care of, and found the menu to be a terrific combination of standards and inventive specials at reasonable prices. We expect to become regulars. |

The food at the inn is lovely, always has been! But the little outside bar staff needs a lesson in etiquette or just plain old-fashioned manners. Too much complaining about the kitchen and the boss... we customers don't need to know all that and more! Our advice, skip the pre-dinner cocktail unless you're into restaurant scoop. |

Service is a perfect balance between being relaxed and efficient. Absolutely quaint, and the food is out of this world. The pairing of foods with wines is impeccable and the specials are revolutionary. A contemporary twist on old items always appears on the specials. My Wife and I eat there every weekend with standing reservations, along with about 12 other couples, and all are amazed at finding the previous reviews on this restaurant. We continaully visit the restaurant and so should you. We never had any bad experiences, nor did we or hear of any. Highly recomended. The newest rising star chef is really turning around the food there. |

It's refreshing to have a new young chef bringing new dishes to the wonderful old Inn! I've been a long time customer and I am very happy with the changes to the restaurant and the historic bar! Keep up the great work!!! |

We haven't visited the Barnsboro Inn for several years. We called to make a last-minute reservation and arrived to find ourselves at a very small table on the porch by the door to the main dining room, which was uncomfortable as people passed by and bumped my husband. The service was fine and the food was actually very good. Would definitely consider returning IF we could be seated in a better spot. |

We have dined at the Barnsboro many times, frequently enjoying the exquisite crab imperial. About three years ago, a new chef arrived, and the dish was never as good. We recently visited and felt a bit rushed as the waitress continually checked our progress during the salad course, immediately bringing the entree when we had finished. The service was just adequate, but wholly uninspired. The surf and turf included a rather small lobster tail and filets a bit over-cooked and dry. Asparagus was served cold, probably due to the rather cold dish. Disappointing overall, but at least some of the long-term serving staff is still there. Now if they could draft a free agent for the kitchen.... |
