Our 26th aniversary dinner. We picked the place off the web. never been there or heard of it before. We had the New England chowder and thier Long Island Chowder. Both were excelent with lots of stock and serverd nice and hot. The Captain's Medley was delicious. We also had the shrimp scampy. also cooked to perfection. The salads were fresh and the bread was warm. Waitress was informative and friendly. |

I have been there several times and had pretty good food several times, however the last time will really be the last time. I paid top dollar for really awful food and poor service. The fish was overcooked as well as the sugar 'snap' peas and potato. The peas especially were so limp they were rendered unedible and the potato was literally charred on the bottom. It was as if the meal had been sitting there for hours on the stove waiting. That may have indeed been the case given how long we had to wait. |
