In response to KSU's comment about Buffalo foodies ignoring Curly's: my guess is that the restaurant's location & low profile are the cause. I say, let the foodies continue to focus north of Ridge Road and keep this gem to ourselves! One gripe though: My friends & I are in our early twenties and were having a drink at the bar. When we asked to be seated at a table, the hostess seemed to hesitate. Young people like to eat out, too! If our age is a factor at Curly's, we'll take our disposable income elsewhere! |

The steak au poivre was the best steak I ever had! Whenever I'm in WNY, I try and stop at least once at Curly's. Terrific food! |

My wife and I have been enjoying Curley's for many years. The restaurant has a wonderful neighborhood feel. The small bar is very crowded on weekends but the atmosphere is fun and lively. I believe they do not take reservations, so be prepared to stand and have a cocktail (or two) while you wait for a table. The food is outstanding and we especially enjoy the seafood... as well as the specialty jerk-chicken. Curly's also has a tastefull wine list and serves a good assortment of beers, some from local breweries. Alas, the prices are very reasonable. |
