Very unpretentious, BIG - fun to eat upstairs or downstairs. Good, basic seafood in a very pretentious res't. location, but with no snobbery that I could detect. You can go casual or dressed up.
You can sit and have a salad and some shrimp and noone will hassle you - or chow down with a whole lobster meal.
nice food, nice service and for NYC and for the location not too expensive
Good for families, singles (there is enough of a singles scene at the bar sometimes for mingling if you want to, but it's not obnoxious) - or to take your mother and your aunt to. |
