I have eaten at the Gulf Freeway location for quite some time now and
can truly say the value was the main reason. The quality of the food
is just average and the service is pitiful. However, today they sunk
to an all-time low in my opinion. I placed a telephone order and when
I got to the restaurant they told me that I had not placed an order since
there was not one in their computer. They kept telling me I called the
wrong location and I would have to wait for a new order. Then they found
my order bagged and left in a non-food area. After all the hassle and
confusion I asked for some cocktail sauce and they had the nerve to charge
me 25 cents. When I asked the owner why they charged for cocktail sauce
on seafood orders, I was informed that the cocktail sauce was free, but the
container was 25 cents. Amazing I said since I worked in the fast food
business 23 years and know that those containers cost less than 1 cent
including the lid. Now 25 cents will never break me, but what kind of
business jerks its regular customers around like that. I will never eat
there again. The food is not good enough to overcome the hassles with the service. |
